On February 29th, 2012, Life Fitness produced the 500,000th treadmill at our Franklin Park, Ill. factory. The first Life Fitness treadmill ever produced was the TR9500 (also known as “The Tank”) in August of 1991. During that first year we averaged ten treadmilles per day. Needless to say we’ve perfected the art since then and today our team averages 177 treadmills per day!
