Few brands define exercise innovation, elite performance and rugged durability like Hammer Strength. The truth is, our equipment is cutting-edge and anvil-strong because it was born that way, and this year we’re proud to announce that Hammer Strength has turned 25-years-old. As our anniversary party approaches in San Diego at IHRSA 2014, I think it's finally time to look back at the incredible, fruitful journey that got us here today.
In San Diego for IHRSA 2014, we’re honored to have Life Fitness legend and five-time Mr. Universe awardee Bill Pearl in attendance. His history of exercise excellence, Life Fitness support, and commitment to health and wellness make him an inspiration to us all. What’s more – his story is even more incredible than his resume.
When an entire organization is dedicated to the research and improvement of a golfer’s swing, it’s only natural that health and fitness would come into play, so to speak, sooner or later.
The partnership that began between Life Fitness and Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) more than six years ago was a natural fit, with the powerhouse manufacturer of cutting-edge exercise equipment connecting with the leader in golf performance and education. The result is a healthy match, with a meeting of minds to create some of the most innovative and dynamic programming.
Hammer Strength is excited to announce, in partnership with the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa), the second annual Hammer Strength All American Athlete of the Year award. Hammer Strength and the CSCCa aim to recognize the most outstanding male and female collegiate athletes who exemplify the best of what it takes to become an elite athlete and excel on and off the field or court.
The first annual Hammer Strength All American Athlete of the Year Award went to a very deserving individual: Jeanelle Scheper from the University of South Carolina. Our 2013 female award-winner entered college as a 15-year-old, set a school record jumping 6’3” ¼ during the 2013 season and became the Student Athlete of the Year. Additionally, she received accolades from her home country of St. Lucia as the St. Lucia Junior Female Athlete of the Year and the Sports Woman of the Year.
When a country club maintains a pristine golf course in a lush, picturesque Georgia setting, it can go a long way toward satisfying and attracting members. However, managers at one Alpharetta, Ga. club found that boosting fitness options is a way to go the extra mile.
When it came to fitness, White Columns Country Club had outdated equipment and programs. With that realization, managers began to look for ways to revitalize the club's revenue through dedicated golf fitness programs.
Here at Life Fitness and Hammer Strength we take great pride in the quality and reliability of our equipment. Each design goes through a rigorous testing phase with our Hammer Strength testing lab to ensure we can provide our customers with the best product able to stand up to the most extreme conditions.
