Personal Trainers to Watch Final Judging Event to be Held in London


Today, Life Fitness announced that Nuffield Health, the U.K.’s largest healthcare charity, will serve as the global stage for the Personal Trainers to Watch live competition, where the world’s top personal trainer will be selected. The event, to be held on Sept. 27, 2013, at St. Albans Fitness and Wellbeing Centre, will bring together the competition’s top 10 finalists who will compete and be judged based on training technique using the Life FitnessSynrgy360 personal training system. 

The Life Fitness Academy, the education arm of Life Fitness, will host a Synrgy360 workshop to develop and observe the trainers as the final component to the judging process.  The Personal Trainers to Watch finalists will experience and create dynamic, total-body exercises, with the Synrgy360 system which offers unlimited training possibilities. 

To date, we’ve received more than 1,000 nominations for this year’s program, from 39 countries spanning the globe. Bringing together world-class trainers in one place at Nuffield Health St. Albans underscores the importance of the personal training profession and its impact worldwide on healthy lifestyles. 

The Personal Trainers to Watch program recognizes and rewards trainers around the world that embody the same passion and commitment to healthy lifestyles on which Life Fitness prides itself. Nominees are judged on dedication to enhancing client experiences and pursuing continuing education for mastery of the profession, as well as leadership, client motivation, inspiration and previous recognitions.

Nominations will be accepted until June 30, 2013. To nominate a personal trainer who supports a power vision and exemplary commitment to the field, exercisers, personal trainers and gym owners alike can visit

Finalists will be notified in August and the 2013 Personal Trainer to Watch will be announced in September.
