Rosemont, Ill., Oct. 13, 2015 – Selected from nearly 1,000 nominations and a record-breaking 49 countries and territories, 10 elite trainers have emerged to compete for the title of world’s best Personal Trainer to Watch. On Oct. 30, Life Fitness, the global leader in commercial fitness equipment manufacturing, will gather these finalists at David Lloyd Club Turó in Barcelona, Spain, for one last challenge: a final judging event to evaluate their training skills.
“From Sacramento to Sweden, these Life Fitness top 10 Personal Trainers to Watch finalists come from five different countries that span the globe, but they are united in their commitment to exceptional client support and motivation, and as well as their passion for personal training,” said Chris Clawson, president of Life Fitness. “Each finalist was an inspiration to our judges, and we’re honored to recognize their outstanding achievements.”

Finalists were selected based on personal values, innovative training philosophies, education and experience. Judges included experts from Life Fitness and its educational arm, Life Fitness Academy, as well as the International Confederation of Registers for Exercise Professionals (ICREPs), EuropeActive, American Council on Exercise (ACE) and past competition winners.
The top 10 finalists will compete in the program’s day-long live judging event on Oct. 30, 2015, where they will be evaluated on their ability to motivate, praise and collaborate with a client, as well as enhance the workout experience using the Life Fitness SYNRGY BlueSky outdoor training system.
